There have been 4 derailments in the past 5 months in Ohio. There is still a shortage of chassis and congestion at all 3 Ohio railhead connections.

Construction of new rail tracks on terminal is now complete, allowing for an increase in daily productivity. This has resulted in the reduction of overall import boxes on terminal and it is expected that this trend will continue moving forward.

The strikes have severe impacts on Finnish foreign trade and cargo transportation as a whole. Containers already had to be diverted to other ports in the area, e.g. Gdynia and will be transferred as soon as terminals in Finland resume. Collective bargaining has so far failed and further action has to be expected.
