Hillebrand reinforces US logistics services with the acquisition of Royal Logistics & Royal Service Transport
17th December 2019, Hillebrand, the global leading service provider in the forwarding, transport and logistics of beverages and other products that require special care, has acquired in full, warehouse and transportation beverage only provider Royal Logistics and Royal Service Transport (Royal).
The acquisition of the Baltimore, MD USA based company is part of Hillebrand’s business plan, which commits to grow both organically and through acquisition and continue improving customer service. This move facilitates that aim, with storage, cross-docking, distribution, drayage and other value-added services now more accessible in the mid- Atlantic and Northeast regions.

Since 2003, Royal has been a trusted partner of Hillebrand, providing services to its recently rebranded Keg & Assets division formally known as Satellite Logistics Group, Inc. This acquisition has allowed Hillebrand to expand its warehouse facilities and distribution capabilities.
